Finished it!!!!
I finished that baby blanket I said I was making for a friend of mine and sent it to her, she loves it!. I looks so gorgeous, with the remaining yarn I might make a pair of booties (if I can find a pattern) or maybe a hat because I have a lot of black yarn left. I might actually make something for her instead of the baby out of the remaining yarn. (It seems I forgot to post this when I actually finished it, and it also seems that I forgot to get a picture of it before I sent it...I'll keep looking...but anyway, here's one from when I was doing the edging to finish it.

New Project(s)
Hey all, I mentioned in my previous post, about the Stash and Burn Podcast, that I'd been knitting at a furious pace to try and finish my Mother's Day gift, and I'm pleased to report it's almost done! I've got one more major part and then it's pretty much done, it just needs to be sewn together! I also mentioned that I was swarmed with UFO's in my last post so I thought I'd post a picture of each of the major ones I'm working on right now.

Baby Blanket
And here's the last big one which is also a surprise
So that's what I'm currently focused on, what are you all knitting right now?

Stash and Burn Podcast
Hey all, I have returned. I've been actually knitting (at a furious pace, I have a Mother's Day project (or 2) still to finish and a baby blanket to finish for at the latest the first week in June (It's only about 1/2 way done so it's one of my main projects right now) and a shawl to finish) and I'm kind of drowning in UFO's and Half finished projects so I've been spending a lot more time on those as opposed to being online to look at knitting patterns or blogging which is the only way I'm going to get anything done.
However I was taking a break from knitting because my hands were starting to cramp up on me and if I continued they would be of absolutely no use to me at all and I decided to Google yarn stash and such and I ran across the Stash and Burn podcast and now I have something else to listen to while I knit (the other thing being Night Vale). I've only listened to the first couple episodes so far but I really like it and decided to post the link to the first episodes on here (The website is chronological (like most blogs) so the newest post is first and there's like 160 odd episodes so I figured there was no better starting point than the beginning.
So, without further Gilding the Lily and with no more Ado*, the Stash and Burn Podcast
http://www.stashandburn.com/episodes/page/14/
*Also, props if you get that reference, it's from a favourite movie of mine.
I'll post pictures on my Ravelry (and here) of the finished Mother's Day gift, after the actual day because spoilers.
See you on the flipside!

Knitting Through the Looking Glass: At last! A No Guilt Stash!
Hey I know I haven't been on in a while but I've been frantically knitting trying to finish half done projects with a close deadline and I'm no where near done but I found this cool post when I took a break and thought I'd share it.

Current Project - blanket
Hey all, I thought I'd just take an opportunity (I haven't posted in a while, I apologize) to just give a quick status update on my projects.
I' still working on the leafy lace one but less so because it's an excel spreadsheet and my excel's been a bit wonky lately so I thought I'd work on projects not created in my Microsoft Excel.
Currently I'm working on a black car blanket for my mom (and a matching blue one for her friend). It started out as a blanket square project but I found that very tedious and I figured one blanket square project at a time, so I grabbed one of my small crochet hooks (I'm using Loops and Threads Manchester (for now) and it's very thin yarn) and I started working around the existing block in a rectangle all the way around, it's still small but growing steadily.
Keep knitting!
